| “Sermon” In The Works Of Christ ! Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Rom 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. The Above Scriptures Tell a Story all their Own , The path of Salvation Starts With the Spoken Word ! God Created The Heavens and Earth By Speaking them Into existence ! Here is Just a few Of the Times GOD spoke Things into Being ! Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Gen 1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. Gen 1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. Gen 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. As we Can Plainly see from the Scriptures above, that The Spoken Word of GOD has POWER! The Spoken Word of God is what Brings Sinners to Belief in Christ! All Belief Comes from Hearing…the Word of GOD! As Said In these scriptures … Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! So we can See that The Word Must be Spoken, into the Ears of The Lost of this world! This can only be accomplished, By Those who Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ! They Must First! Be Called of God to Preach! Then Be sent out to Preach! The Sending out is of two parts! One God must Put it on their Hearts, to Go Preach His Word! And Two… They Must be Supported, by Others, Who Believe Gods Word also! No Man Is an Island in Himself… All are Part Of the Complete Body Of Christ! All True Members of the Body of Christ have a Talent, It Might be the ability to send Financial Offerings, It Might Be The Ability to Give an Encouraging Word when It is Needed Most! It Might Be The Ability to Bring Fervent and Frequent Prayers Before the Throne of Grace, for the needs of that Ministry to Be met according to Gods Will, for His Glory! It Might Be The Ability to Be of Some other Assistance to The Ministry, Such as helping get The Word out in some supportive capacity! All True believers In Jesus Christ , have been Given a Gift or Talent that is to be Used for Gods Glory and The Building Up Of the Kingdom of Christ! What is Your Gift? And How are you using it For Gods Glory? These are Just some of the Questions that WE need to Be asking Our selves! What will YOU Hear when You Stand before Christ on That Wonderful Day ? “ Well Done ” ? Or That deep Look of Sadness as he Brings back to your Mind the many times He wanted you to do Something for His Glory! And You wouldn’t Listen and Obey ? Brothers and Sisters… I Plead with you… Think about this ! |
