What is the Difference in

Believing In Christ ( GOD )

And

Believing Christ ( GOD )

Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of
my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out
devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which
built his house upon a rock:
Mat 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it
was founded upon a rock.

Believing in Christ as the Son of God , is a first Step In Salvation…

But

It is Only the First Step…

Jas 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Mat 8:28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with
devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
Mat 8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither
to torment us before the time?

Mar 1:23 And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
Mar 1:24 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know
thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

Mar 5:7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure
thee by God, that thou torment me not.

Luk 4:33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,
Luk 4:34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know

As you Can Plainly Read here…

Many times even the Evil Spirits and Demons believed ,
That Jesus is the Son Of GOD…

So What is it that makes A Difference ?

Let Us Consider This for a Moment !

The Demons and Evil Spirits Knew That Jesus Was the Son of GOD !

They Just Refused to accept His authority over them , Willingly !

How do we accept authority over Us ?

Lets use an example that all should be able to Understand !

Lets say there has be some sort of Major catastrophe !
Something Serious Enough ,That ,
Maybe temporary Martial Law had to Be Declared !
So a 9 pm Curfew has been Invoked to hold down looting !
If you accepted The authority of the ruling Officials over you…
You would Stay off the Streets after the Curfew was in effect !
So , In effect…
You would be Obedient to what the Ruling authority said to do !

Our accepting Christ as Our Lord is the Same Principal !

In His Holy Word , There are Rules To Live By,

Joh 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one
another.
Joh 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Mat 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy
mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Certain Directives , and Guidelines that we Must follow !

There are certain Laws That MUST be followed ,

If you Truly accept Christ as Lord and accept His Authority over your Life !

When You Deliberately do Not Obey The Law,
then You are a Law Breaker !

If you are a Law Breaker ,
Then you do not accept The Authority of the Law Givers
Over your Life…

When You Deliberately do not follow the Rules and Commandments and Guidelines In God’s Holy Word ,

Then

You have Not accepted Christ’s Authority Over You !
You are Not One of His Sheep
You have become one of the Goats !

Mat 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne
of his glory:
Mat 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd
divideth his sheep from the goats:
Mat 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Mat 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom
prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Mat 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took
me in:
Mat 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Mat 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and
gave thee drink?
Mat 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Mat 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
Mat 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the
least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for
the devil and his angels:
Mat 25:42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
Mat 25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Mat 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or
naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Mat 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these,
ye did it not to me.
Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
